Yves Saint Laurent Striped Evening Dress

A wonderful vintage Yves Saint Laurent ‘variation’ striped evening dress

A sleeveless design with a little light boning in the sides of the body, made out of a stretchy cotton.

There’s a long piece of lace attached at the front of the hips in a low curve, which can be left trailing or tied in various ways.

The graphic black and white print starts off as pinstripes. but then becomes twisted scrollwork below the hip.

In very good vintage condition. There’s a tiny amount of marking down two of the front stripes which I believe is caused by dye bleeding, but its only noticeable if you’re looking for it.
