A beautiful vintage embroidered kaftan coat, made by J Peterman.
Made from heavy cotton, this piece would make a fantastic layering piece or otherwise an extremely warm house coat.
100% cotton. The outer fabric is navy blue with red stripes, edged with gold, black braid and block printed sections. The lining is a patterend ochre.
Splits to both sides and frog fastenings to the front.
In gently used vintage condition. Unfortunately the braid at the edges has shrunk slightly, pulling the hem of the coat a little out of line. Otherwise it is in very good condition.
Marked as a size 16.
