Jean Muir Navy Sparkle Dress

A beautiful vintage evening dress by designer Jean Muir

Made from navy crepe fabric, with an iridescent paisley glitter pattern, made by glueing small sequins to the fabric.

Heavily inspired by the designs of the 1930s, the dress is cut with a high collar and small peep hole to the neck. It is also cut on the bias and constructed out of triangle pattern pieces, with deep inset sleeves.

There are two pockets in the skirt.

In lightly worn vintage condition.The sequined patches are mostly still in very good condition, but a few have rubbed off around the shoulders. There is one mend to the fabric at the front, near the waist. Please see the last photograph for details of both issues.
