Hardy Amies 60s Dress

A wonderful vintage dress, made by British couturier Hardy Amies in the 1960s.

Made from mid-weight black wool crepe. Fully lined.

A very unusual design inspire by the space age aesthetics of the early 60s. The dress is an A-line cut with a high collar and angular darts to the chest, and has a removable harness which buttons at the back of the neck, and then clips at the front with a geometric silver diamante buckle.

In excellent vintage condition – there is no bobbling or nibbling to the wool, the buckle is still shiny and has all its stones.
