70s White Cotton Maxi Dress

A beautiful vintage 1970s white cotton maxi dress

Made in England. 100% cotton

The cotton is very slightly cream coloured – closer to the warmer shade seen in the first the photographs than to the very bright ones that follow!

Made with sheer lace to chest (it needs to be worn with something underneath!) and fabric-covered buttons at the front.

Gathered lace to sleeves and skirt, with an attached tie waistband.

In good vintage condition. The cotton has a slightly rough texture, and there some natural patination / speckling to weave, but I would consider this just to be a part of the way the dress was made.
