70s Christian Dior (Diorling) Velvet Coat

A stunning vintage velvet coat, made in the 70s for Christian Dior’s ‘Diorling’ label, which was aimed at a younger clientelle.

A classic hippy style inspired by the kaftan, with a square shape, wide sleeves and pointed hood.

Made from cotton velvet with braided trim along the edges and pockets.

Made in London.

A mid-weight coat. Fully lined.

Please note, there are no closures down the front. This piece designed to be worn open

In good vintage condition. There is one little patch sewn onto the outer sleeve, and the grain of the velvet is a little bit worn at the elbows. Otherwise everything about the coat looks very good.
