50s Black Beaded Sheaf Dress. 27″ Waist / 38″ Chest.

A beautiful 1950s Black sheath dress, with ornate embroidery around the neckline to front and back.

The dress is labelled ‘Marusia Originals’ and is an example of high quality 50s tailoring and dress making.

An very well made dress, fully lined with silk organza, and hand embellished over a sheer cut-out section. The outer fabric is a soft slub textured fabric, possibly a linen mix.

The skirt is tapered in shape and has a very deep hem, so the length could be adjusted.

Little bow to the front of waist

Very good condition. There is a tiny catch to the sheer organza section by the back of the neck (please see the last photograph for details). Otherwise everything looks very good.
