40s Silk Chiffon Evening Dress

A beautiful vintage 1940s silk evening dress.

Made from vey pale pink crepe chiffon fabric, with a floral pattern woven into it in metallic thread.

Ruffles to neck and chest, elbows and hem, and diamante clip fastening to the neck

Lined in plain synthetic fabric.

Sold AS SEEN. The outer has shrunk just a little, so the now the hem will need to be re-done. Please see the last photo for details. There is also a little discolouration to the inside of the collar, and a few faint marks to the outer fabric.

Fastens with a hidden zip to the side waist, which looks like it was put in quite recently to replace the original one.
