40s Silk Tulle Evening Dress

A beautiful tulle and silk dress, dating from the 1940s.

Hand sewn, with a layer black tulle layered over a light silk satin. There’s also a band of velvet sewn to the hem of the tulle, which gives the tulle a bit more weight and the dress great movement.

Hidden metal side zip at waist. Gathered tulle around the bodice, and spaghetti straps.

The dress is in good condition for its age. There are one or two small catches to the tulle, but nothing significant.
