80s Monsoon Cotton and Silk Sun-Dress

A beautiful vintage cotton and silk dress, made by Monsoon.

I believe this is a very early piece from the brand, based on the quality of the materials and the fact it was made in England. The label is also very 70s / early 80s!

The outer fabric is 81% cotton and 19% silk

There dress also has a very fine cotton muslin lining.

Cut with a high neck, narrow spaghetti stripes, and a low back.

Fastens with little buttons to the back.

The lining has turned a little yellow with age, but isn’t stained or marked in any way. Otherwise, the dress is in very good vintage condition.

Marked as a UK 12 / US 10 / EU 38, but comes up small!
