1940s Scalloped Maxi Dress. 36″ Chest

A beautiful vintage evening dress, dating from the late 1940s.

Petal shaped cuffs, waistline and collar. Made from synthetic grosgrain textured satin.

The fabric is a slightly muted reddish pink.

Fastens with a long row of buttons and loops to the back.

The dress is still very strong, but is showing some signs of age. There is some discolouration to the buttons and some faint marks under the arms, and scattering of other other small marks on the bodice. Nothing huge, just small age spots.
