70s Phool Indian Cotton Dress. Size M

A beautiful vintage Indian Cotton dress, dating from the 1970s and made by Phool.

Block printed cotton in rich reds and browns, with an embroidered section to the chest and soft wide sleeves.

Made from extremely fine gauzy cotton, see-through when held up to a window.

Please note, this dress is from my personal collection and has been subject to my own wacky repairs. Some weak spots on the underarms have been strengthened with patchwork sections on the inside, and the contrasting fabric has been blended with the outer. There are a couple of small holes that I have missed.

Please see the last photograph for an idea of what the repairs look like to the inside. A section of decorative bobbles is also missing from the waist. However, the dress still has plenty of wear left in it. I’m actually selling this one because I replaced it with another Phool dress with more damage, but in colours I prefer!
